First it has the same stamina system of its obvious ancestors in mobile games and actively hides that fact during the first few levels to trick you. Second, and the worse of the two, is the elite system. Long story short (because it is fairly complicated) you can very easily ruin your main unit simply by following the fairly implied instructions the game gives you by fusing your warlord with units they give you specifically for fusing your warlord. What they don't tell you is that you absolutely should get rid of those units right away and replace them with elite versions of those units or your warlord will be semi-permanently gimped. Not only that, but the elite system also takes the game from being fairly low budget friendly to being god awful impossible to play. The game tricked me here too, it does a good job making you feel like you can make it without fusing exclusively elite units but eventually you will hit a wall and unless you have fat pockets you will not pass it.I really want to like this game. The conept is truly interesting and the formation based tactics are deceptively deep, but I cannot stand by a company that uses such shady and deceptive practices to trick its audience into commiting time and then slams pay walls in front of them.. Pretty awful. I knew it was gonna be a "cash grab" game, but goodness... This game is so poorly designed. The "gotta wait for energy to play the game" mechanic was something I hadn't seen in a long time and I'd hoped was dead. Not only that, there are many glitches. If you're not a whale, don't even worry about keeping up with the #1-3 guild.HOWEVER!!!You end up getting about $50 worth of "free" premium currency per month, just by playing. But here is the big kicker, Join a top guild. Once I joined the #8 guild I started getting 10-30 premium creatures per week, and 3,000 free xp.And the game is just fun, and addictive.. Look I can understand if your potato can only run this, then you feel the need to play it, but other than that, no fun factor, repetitive, terrible UI, Even if you got the Promote Pack for free, which is so overpriced if otherwise I would still not recommend this game. It's so addictive that you will think about it even when you're sleeping. I don't regret not even 1 single minute played because this game helped me quit smoking. Yes it's very time consuming, yes sometimes it gets pay to win, yes you will forget about all the important things in life, but man it totally worth it!!. While the game play on this was pretty good and entertaining.It unfortunately is a free to play game that litterly constantly screams at you to buy things with real money. Additionally the gameplay is oreinted towards extreme incentive to buy things. You will need to buy a lot of summon spaces, as you get a lot of monsters in every playthrough.Auto-play, cash-based pvp, grinding, and 10 grades of rarity. Yes, 10 grades! They're trying to make you open your wallet at all costs.The RPG part ends in the levelling system. Not really a good story and you don't really have the feeling that you're making any progress in the game, as everything is just fully automated.Definitely, do NOT play this game.. Basically my experience with the game has been a back and forth between loving it and just wanting to remove it all together. Sure it's a very pay to win type of game but that's pretty obvious at this point with a lot of free to play steam games. The thing that is horrible about it is that even if you do pay a lot, the kind of rewards you get for paying never really feel worth it. A lot of the DLCs for the game I got for free and even then... I'd just kind of shrug at what came in the packs and continue going on in the game. Also, I've come to notice that whenever I try PVP in the game, there is a certain character who is just WILDLY OVER POWERED. I guess earlier this year there was a limited time that people could get her and a lot of new players to the game got her. Me... someone who already has ~57 hours in the game can singularly be DESTROYED WITH EASE by someone holding that character who maybe only needed to put 2 hours into the game AT MOST to get her. TL;DR: The only reason I don't recommend the game is because it's very grindy and even if you grind your life away at it, It feels too broken to be satisfying. I only keep putting time into it because I already got this far and I get so little out of life that at this point I'm content with disappointment like this.. The game doesn't stop reminding you about the tutorial or tips in this fashion, such as "double click to see stats and more information" - yet try to do this over say an item or your ranking icon and the story is entirely different.After 2 hours, I have nothing to do but grind earlier levels to find the cards I need, mashing space-bar or facing the possibility of buying an item that effectively auto-bots for you, some top-notch gameplay right there.Frankly, this seems like a mobile game or Facebook converted game... Quick buck, little entertainment or replay value - which is a shame, quite frankly I found this game concept quite promising at first. Should keep this tripe off Steam/PC platforms.
